About me:
Hello, I am Balasundaram Mohan, currently a research associate (postdoc) in Prof. Saptarshi Basu’s Lab. I completed my doctoral and master’s studies under the supervision of Prof. Sathesh Mariappan at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. My research focused on “Thermoacoustic instabilities in can and annular combustors,” combining analytical, numerical, and experimental approaches. My main research interest lies in combustion dynamics, particularly concerning industrial and aero-derivative gas turbine engines, encompassing both experimental work and low-order modelling.
