BIT ABOUT MYSELF AND LAB

I have set up a state-of-the-art Experimental Facility in IISc for combustion and thermo-fluids research at IISc. In late May 2010, after quitting my tenure track position in the USA (Florida was a great place), I joined IISc. It has been a good journey in which I could do my little research in an academically free environment. IISc has been good to me and has provided me with quality infrastructure, tonnes of good students. I also have the benefit of working with some great colleagues at IISc and elsewhere. I am a headstrong person who does research only when it appeals intellectually. IISc, fortunately, offers that option with no strings attached.
